Pavilion

The Pavilion was my fist real life project, completed my first semester of sophmore year. It was located in Harlem and had a view of the Hudson River. My approach with this project was pull the project toward the hudson, hence the shift in the building form and the staggered walls moving toward the river. Going back to ideals of simplicity, I tried to keep the program and form of the building, simple as to not clash with the simplicity and tranquility of the Harlem neighborhood behind it.
